Lisa Hale Photos 2014 Year in Review

2014 was a great year for Lisa Hale Photos!  As an emerging photographer, I gained many valuable skills and lessons that hopefully is noticeable in my work.  Let's get started with the highlights.

Positive Outlooks Blog shared a few of my photos.  They add positive/uplifting quotes and post them on their blog.  There were over 34,000 "likes" and 16,000 "shares" on Facebook.

2014 also created opportunities for bridal photography.  Here are my favorite captures:

Summer vacation found me spending time at the Outer Banks (North Carolina). That's where I captured this photo of a wild horse roaming the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge north of Corolla.  There are just over 100 horses which are remaining from the wild Spanish Mustangs. They've learned how to thrive on the small islands despite all the tourists flooding their refuge.

As an event leader of a meet-up group in Asheville (Hiking With Cameras), I took the liberty of scheduling several photography outings this year.  I took photographers to the local fair for night shooting, we climbed mountains for sunset and super moon shoots, and also spent a long weekend in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  Here are some of my favorite shots from those events:

North Carolina experienced an early snowfall which came before Halloween.  It happened to be peak leaf color when the 6" of white fluffy snow fell.  I ventured out and captured this beauty in my neighborhood:

Last on the agenda for 2014 was a fashion show photography opportunity.  Huge learning curve on this shoot, but in the end it was all worth it.  Here are my top picks:

Thanks for stopping by to check out my 2014 images!

  1. Really amazing photographs shared by you here. The most beautiful photograph which I liked is white fluffy snow fall one. I am thinking that I should hire a wonderful photographer like you for my vow renewal party. Are you available on 5th date of next month?
